Common Application Essay

Hiring an experienced essay coach to help with college applications is most effective when the person already knows your scholar—how they think, what motivates them, and how they express themselves. With Michelle’s guidance, the college application process becomes less stressful and more empowering—an opportunity for students to showcase their best selves with confidence.

Pricing for the Common Application Essay is all-inclusive. Writing this personal narrative is creative and the experience varies from student to student, depending on writing skills, life experiences, and personal preferences. Removing the cost/time pressure is incredibly helpful for Michelle to meet every student’s individual needs. Prior to meeting Michelle, students will complete a pre-meeting brainstorming activity sheet. It includes a timeline, a graphic organizer, and sentence starters. The goal of this activity sheet is to give Michelle Sale a starting point for getting to know the rising high school senior. From there, Michelle and the student discuss possible ideas for the personal narrative, keeping in mind the goal of getting to know and like the student. Students then complete a few more brainstorming exercises before choosing a topic that spotlights the student. Then, Michelle provides an outline and scaffolding support to help the student continue the writing process.
